Our diced pork is cut from the leg meat of the finest Scottish pork. Fully trimmed and hand diced by our Master butchers, it is lean yet robust enough to stand up to slow moist cooking. All of our pork is sourced in the West of Scotland, processed in Ayrshire and then expertly prepared by our Master butchers.
Pork tends to be overlooked as a casserole or slow-cooked ingredient unless as slow roast. Pork leg meat is excellent cooked slowly in this way as the meat has plenty of flavour and doesn’t dry out. Think rich comforting flavours such as cider and cream or something lighter with sage and tomato. Be gentle with it; let the pork be the star of the show.
