West Coast Foods has secured a deal with Aldi to supply a selection of its fresh meat products to stores across Scotland.
The Ayrshire based business is supplying the retailer with three products from its health-conscious Skinni Range in a deal worth more than £50,000.
The Skinni Sweet Chilli Burgers are in store now, while Skinni Lorne Slices, which the company claims are the world’s first fat-free square sausage, and Skinni Black Pudding Slices, are on sale from mid-May.
West Coast Foods director Gareth Downie said: “The range includes great-tasting products that are high in protein, low in carbs and most importantly, low in fat.”
Richard Holloway, managing director of Aldi in Scotland, said: “Our customers have really taken to the West Coast Foods’ Skinni range.”
